In this tutorial, we will see how to install i-nex under Ubuntu 16.10/16.04 and Linux Mint 18 or older.

This tool has similarities with CPU-Z and CPUID which allows users to get hardware details of their CPU, graphics card (GPU), motherboard, memory (RAM), audio, etc.

i-nex Installation

To install i-nex under Ubuntu/Linux Mint, open the terminal and issue these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:i-nex-development-team/daily 
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:i-nex-development-team/libcpuid11 
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/gambas3 
sudo apt update 
sudo apt install i-nex

Then start it from Unity Dash, or run this command:

i-nex -a
