In this tutorial we will help you install Linspeed under the following Ubuntu/Linux Mint distros:
  • Ubuntu 14.10/14.04 or older
  • Linux Mint 17.1/17 or older
Linspeed Installation

To install Linspeed under a 64-bit system, run these commands:

cd /tmp 
wget http://goo.gl/QYP2lr -O linspeed_amd64.deb 
sudo dpkg -i --force-depends linspeed_amd64.deb 
sudo apt-get -f install

For 32-bit systems, enter these commands:

cd /tmp 
wget http://goo.gl/RFI0Hv -O linspeed_i386.deb 
sudo dpkg -i --force-depends linspeed_i386.deb 
sudo apt-get -f install

Use then the Dash to start the application:

Click "Begin Test" to test your Internet connection speed:
