Plank, a simple dock for Ubuntu, has been updated to version 0.8 recently bringing new features and bug fixes. The developer has added the possibility to config Plank through a settings dialog box without the need to use third-party tools.

This new release can be now installed from PPA under Ubuntu 14.10 or older. You can check the full release notes here.

Plank Installation

Open the terminal and enter these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:ricotz/docky 
sudo apt-get update 
sudo apt-get install plank
