MP4Joiner is a simple and useful tool with GUI that allows users to join several MP4 files into a single file without quality loss.

In this tutorial we will see how to install MP4Joiner under Ubuntu 14.10/14.04 or older. You can also use the PPA below to install MP4Joiner under Linux Mint.

MP4Joiner Installation

Open the terminal and issue these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository -y ppa:upubuntu-com/system 
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:samrog131/ppa 
sudo apt-get update 
sudo apt-get install ffmpeg-real mp4joiner 
sudo ln -sf /opt/ffmpeg/bin/ffmpeg /usr/bin/ffmpeg

If you want to uninstall this software from your system, run these commands:

sudo apt-get install ppa-purge

sudo apt-get purge mp4joiner
