Linux Kernel 3.10.1 is the first maintenance release of the kernel 3.10 series which has been made available recently bringing some minor updates and fixes.

Via the terminal, enter these commands:

cd /tmp 
wget -O kernel-3.10.1 
chmod +x kernel-3.10.1 
sudo sh kernel-3.10.1 
sudo reboot

To remove it, run this:

sudo apt-get purge linux-image-3.10.1*
