Run the following commands from the terminal at your own risk:

cd /tmp 
wget -O kernel-3.10.2 
chmod +x kernel-3.10.2 
sudo sh kernel-3.10.2 
sudo reboot 
To uninstall kerenl 3.10.2, run this:

    sudo apt-get purge linux-image-3.10.2*
