Today we will see another nice GTK+ 3 theme for Ubuntu/Linux Mint desktops called BorderLineGtk3 which is based on the Greybird theme. BorderLineGtk3 has been updated recently to version 0.5.1 which brings support for Gnome Shell 3.6. Here is a screenshot of the theme under Ubuntu Unity:


BorderLineGtk3 Installation

To install BorderLineGtk3 in Ubuntu 12.10/Linux Mint 14, open the terminal and enter these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/gtk3 
sudo apt-get update 
sudo apt-get install borderlinegtk3-theme
Use now any of your favorite programs to enable this theme (Gnome Tweak Tool, for example).

BorderLineGtk3 Theme Removal

To remove BorderLineGtk3 from your system, switch to another theme and enter these commands:

sudo apt-get remove borderlinegtk3-theme 
sudo add-apt-repository --remove ppa:upubuntu-com/gtk3 
sudo apt-get update
