Another stable kernel has been released lately for Ubuntu. Linux Kernel 3.4.3 comes with more new features and bug fixes. You can check for complete changes here. Before showing you the installation, you have to bear in mind that installing or upgrading to a new kernel may break your system.
The installation described below is simply a bash script that will download Debian packages of the kernel from Ubuntu servers and install them automatically.
Linux Kernel 3.4.3 Installation
Start the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run these commands to start the installation of Linux Kernel 3.4.3 under Ubuntu 12.04/11.10 or older (i386 & amd64):
cd /tmp && wget -O linux-kernel-3.4.3 http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47950494/upubuntu.com/linux-kernel-3.4.3
chmod +x linux-kernel-3.4.3 && sudo ./linux-kernel-3.4.3
