Manslide is a cool slideshow generator with amazing 3d effects. This application is based on KDE, but we will help you here run it under the Gnome desktop environment. Manslide comes with an easy to use GUI that allows to export generated slideshows in various video formats (MPEG2, FLV, XVID, DV).
Here are some of the tasks you can do with this application:
- Add image effects (rotation, negate, blur, sharpen, emboss, etc.)
- XYZ movement support
- zoom in/out images
- Add 3d effects to your images (plane, cube, flag, animated flag, window, etc.)
- Add sound & animation effects
- OpenGL support, etc.
To install Manslide (2.0.3) under Ubuntu 12.04/11.10, open the terminal and run this sequence of commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:upubuntu-com/graphics
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install manslide
