The tip of today is not that practical to take benefit of it, but it is a bit funny. We will see how to watch videos using the terminal under Ubuntu. It will be interesting and funny if you share it with your friends. Let's first install the "mplayer" package:

sudo apt-get install mplayer

Cd now to the folder containing your video and run this command:

mplayer -vo caca video.avi

Replace "video.avi" with your own video name followed by its extension. In the window that pops-up, enjoy watching the video in full HD:
