If you want to view the HTML code of any website using the terminal under Ubuntu or any Linux-based system, then it is possible thanks to the "GET" command line utility. Open the terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run this command (type "GET" in upper cases):

GET www.upubuntu.com

Replace www.upubuntu.com with any website of your choice. The website HTML code will be generated in the terminal:
