Virtualbox 4.1.10 has been released recently bringing more fixes and improvements in terms of performance and compatibility, especially with new Windows 8. This new version is in fact a maintenance release and encompasses  the following:

Virtualbox 4.1.10 Installation

Open the terminal and run the following commands:

sudo sh -c "echo 'deb http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian oneiric contrib' >> /etc/apt/sources.list"

wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc -O- | sudo apt-key add -

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install virtualbox-4.1
