If you find troubles installing ConkyForecast under Ubuntu, then this tutorial will be useful for you. The installation of ConkyForecast will be via PPA, so nothing complicated.

Open the the terminal under Ubuntu 12.04/11.10 or older and run the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:conky-companions/ppa


sudo apt-get update


sudo apt-get install conkyforecast

Configuring conkyForecast

To customize conkyForecast, you need to move a copy of the conkyForecast.config file to your home directory with this command:

cp /usr/share/conkyforecast/conkyForecast.config ~/.conkyForecast.config

Edit now this file with this command:

gedit ~/.conkyForecast.config

And under: # USER SETTINGS, enter your own details:
