GNOME 3.4 is released, a news announced by the GNOME Release Team since few hours. This latest release has known a lot of enhancements and more new features are included. Among the new features for GNOME 3.4, we can find the following:

  • Quick access to local and online content  thanks to the new document search facility 
  • New application menus (top bar)
  • Improved content scrolling
  • New attractive interface for the GNOME web browser (now called "Web") with improved performance
  • Some bug fixes, etc.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gnome3-team/gnome3

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ricotz/testing

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

sudo apt-get install gnome-shell
