ffDiaporama is a cross-platform application that allows users to assemble their photos, music files and video clips in video slideshows. Here are some of the features for ffDiaporama:

You can find full features here. In this page we will help you install the latest version of ffDiaporama currently available (1.2.1) under Ubuntu 11.10/12.04. As there is no Debian package provided for Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin) we will install using the Oneirc .deb package.
ffDiaporama 1.2.1 Installtion
Open the terminal and install first these dependencies:
sudo apt-get install intltool-debian libavcodec-extra-53 libavformat-extra-53 libavdevice-extra-53 libswscale-extra-2
Then start the installation with these commands for Ubuntu (32-bit / i386):
wget -O ffdiaporama_1.2.1_i386.deb http://goo.gl/f5xRs
sudo dpkg -i ffdiaporama_1.2.1_i386.deb
For Ubuntu (64-bit / amd64):
wget -O ffdiaporama_1.2.1_amd64.deb http://goo.gl/ORhYV
sudo dpkg -i ffdiaporama_1.2.1_amd64.deb
