qPdf2Img is a PDF to image converter with GUI that allows to convert a PDF file to any of these image formats:

  • BMP
  • JPG
  • PNG
  • PPM
  • TIFF
  • XBM
  • XPM 

Since the application is written in C++ and requires Poppler and Qt4 to be installed on your system, you need to install these dependencies using the terminal:

sudo apt-get install libqt4-dev libpoppler-qt4-dev

Then install qPdf2Img under Ubuntu 11.10 or any other distributions with the following commands (installation will be in the home directory):

wget -O qpdf2img-0.2.2.tar.gz http://goo.gl/EmCnX

sudo tar -xzvf qpdf2img-0.2.2.tar.gz -C ~/ && cd qpdf2img-0.2.2

./configure && make && chmod +x qpdf2img
