Gnome Photo Frame is a frame gadget that displays on your Gnome-based desktop images streamed from:
- Local Folders
- RSS
- Flickr
- Tumblr
- Shotwell, etc.
sudo apt-get install python-central
Then install Gnome Photo Frame with the following commands:
wget -O gphotoframe_1.5-0.1_all.deb http://goo.gl/76gak
sudo dpkg -i gphotoframe_1.5-0.1_all.deb
Start now this photo frame gadget with the following command:
gphotoframe &
Gnome Photo Frame is a detachable frame that can be moved and placed on any area on your desktop. To switch to fullscreen mode, press F11. You can also start Photo Frame automatically at Ubuntu startup or customize it in the Preferences window (Right-click on the frame and select Preferences):
