In this tutorial we will see how to install Greyness Blue, a new GTK3 theme for Ubuntu 11.10 that can be used with Gnome Shell and Unity. The theme is a mixture of the dark gray and blue colors. Here is a screenshot of it under Ubuntu 11.10 (Unity):

Greyness Blue Installation

To install and enable the Greyness Blue theme, run the following commands from the terminal:

wget -O greyness_blue.zip http://goo.gl/RsbQa
mkdir ~/.themes
unzip greyness_blue.zip -d ~/.themes
gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme 'Greyness-Blue-GTK'
gconftool-2 --set --type string /apps/metacity/general/theme 'Greyness-Blue-GTK'

You can beautify this theme with the FaenK icon theme, or simply select another one from the list here.
