Tomahawk is an open source and cross-platform media player which is intuitive and lightweight. Having a slick and easy to use interface, Tomahawk also allows to connect to other computers in a local network, connect with friends via Google Chat, Twitter, and Jabber to play their playlists, stations, and libraries.
To install Tomahawk on Ubuntu, open the terminal and run this sequence of commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tomahawk/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install tomahawk
You can then start Tomahawk via the Unity Dash.
