ColoredPlastic is an icon theme compatible with Unity, GNOME 2.x, and GNOME 3.x. In this guide we will see how to install and enable ColoredPlastic on Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. To see if you like this icon theme or not, here are some screenshots of it under Ubuntu Oneiric (Unity):

So, open the terminal and run these commands:

cd /tmp
wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47950494/ColoredPlastic.tar.gz
mkdir ~/.icons
tar -xzvf ColoredPlastic.tar.gz -C ~/.icons

To enable ColoredPlastic use the Gnome Tweak Tool:

Or enable it quickly with this command:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme 'ColoredPlastic'
