In this tutorial we will help you install and enable the AwOken icon theme under Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. The theme is compatible with both Gnome Shell and Unity and comes in three different styles so that you select what best fits with your current theme. Here are some screenshot of it under Ubuntu Oneiric (Unity):




AwOken Installation

To install AwOken icon theme under Ubuntu, use these commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:alecive/antigone
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install awoken-icon-theme

To enable this theme, use Gnome Tweak Tool, or run one of these commands from the terminal:

- Standrad:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme 'AwOken'

- Dark:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme 'AwOkenDark'

- White:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme 'AwOkenWhite'

To customize this theme, run this command via the terminal:

awoken-icon-theme-customization
