Angry IP Scanner is a multi-platform network scanner that allows users to scan IP ranges as well as ports, MAC address, get NetBIOS information, etc. The returned results can be then saved in XML, TXT, CSV or IP-Port list files.
To install Angry IP Scanner on Ubuntu (32-bit), run the following commands via the terminal:
wget -O ipscan_3.0-beta6_i386.deb http://goo.gl/oTo0c
sudo dpkg -i ipscan_3.0-beta6_i386.deb
For Ubuntu (64-bit), run these commands:
wget -O ipscan_3.0-beta6_amd64.deb http://goo.gl/5DobZ
sudo dpkg -i ipscan_3.0-beta6_amd64.deb
You can then start it via the Unity Dash:
