As you know, Adobe Flash player becomes almost a necessity for Internet users to be able to browse web pages smoothly. This is due to the use of flash player by many webmasters for designing their websites, blogs, etc. Flash player is also used by many video sharing sites like Youtube, DailyMotion, etc.

So, if you are using Ubuntu, you may need first to install the Adobe Flash player to be able to view Flash contents. In this guide we will see how to use the command line to install flash player on Ubuntu 11.10/11.04 (also workable for Ubuntu 10.10/10.04).

Open the Terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run this command to install flash player:

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer

Flash player is now installed and enabled on all your web browsers!

That's it!
