The theme introduced here is for girls who want to give their Ubuntu 11.10 desktop a girly pink look. This theme is called Radiamentary-Pink and is a GTK+ based theme for Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.

In this guide we will help you install and enable it with simple terminal commands, no need to use the manual installation.

Radiamentary-Pink Installation

      1. Installing & Enabling The Theme

Open the terminal and run this sequence of commands:

cd /tmp
wget -O radiamentary-pink.tar.gz http://goo.gl/COsLa
mkdir ~/.themes
tar -xzvf radiamentary-pink.tar.gz -C ~/.themes

To enable the theme, you can use Gnome Tweak Tool, or run simply this single command from the terminal:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface gtk-theme 'radiamentary-pink'

     2. Enabling Icon Theme

Via the terminal, run these commands:

cd /tmp
wget http://dl.dropbox.com/u/47950494/radiamentary-MyIpink.tar.gz
sudo tar -xzvf radiamentary-MyIpink.tar.gz -C /usr/share/icons

Use now Gnome Tweak tool to enable this icon theme, or run simply this command:

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.interface icon-theme 'radiamentary-MyIpink'
