We have previously seen how to record audio output using Audio Recorder. Today we will see another application that do the same called outRec.

outRec is a lightweight tool that allows to record streaming audio from websites or your own system sound card audio output. You need simply to play audio from a website or play a song using your media player, select an audio format (WAV, OGG, or MP3) from the outRec main interface, then hit the Record button. All recorded audio files will be saved in the ~/outRec folder.
