LiVES is a video editing program that allows users of different levels to easily create and edit video. LiVES can also be scripted and controlled remotely.
The latest version of LiVES (1.4.5) comes with many new features and bugfixes. In this tutorial, we are going to see how to install LiVES on Ubuntu 11.04, but you can also install it on older Ubuntu distros (10.10/10.04).
LiVES (currently v1.4.5) Installtion
To install LiVES (1.4.5) on Ubuntu 11.04/10.10/10.04, run these commands via the Terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/lives
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install lives
You can then start the LiVES video editor using the dash:
