KDiskFree is a lightweight program that allows Ubuntu users to display information about their hard drives as well as other mounted storage devices (USB Drives, for example).

With KDiskFree, you can do the following:

  • View hard drive or USB drive size and usage 
  • View filesystem used
  • View Available free space
  • View device content in file manager
  • Mount/unmount storage devices

To install KDiskFree on Ubuntu 11.04/10.10/10.04, launch the Terminal and run this command:

 sudo apt-get install kdf
