Emesene is a program that allows Ubuntu users, via a simple user interface, to connect to networks such as Facebook, MSN, GTalk, Jabber, etc. In this article, we will help you install the latest version of Emesene (2.11.5) on Ubuntu 11.04, but you can also install it on later versions of Ubuntu.

Emesene (2.11.5) Installation

From the Terminal, run these commands to install Emesene on Ubuntu 11.04:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:emesene-team/emesene-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install emesene

To start it, search "emesene" using the dash:
