Screenkey is a lightweight tool that allows Ubuntu users to display keypresses in a large format on screen. This tool is useful for those who want to create screencasts or those with some vision difficulties.
After launching Screenkey, the tool will display on your screen every key press you make with your keyboard on a transparent black horizontal bar.
To install Screenkey on Ubuntu 11.04/10.10/10.04, download this deb package and install it.
To start Screenkey, search it using the dash:
Once started, Screenkey's icon will be displayed in the upper panel.
