In this tip, we will see how to open a Terminal directly in a specific directory from the right-click menu. This tip is operational only if you use the Nautilus file manager for GNOME.
To install this Nautilus feature on Ubuntu 11.04/10.10/10.04, launch the terminal and issue this command:
sudo apt-get install nautilus-open-terminal
Log out the current session and log in again to be able to use this feature. Now, you can open the terminal in any selected folder via the right-click menu:
