If you want to make it easy configuring your boot loader (GRUB, Plymouth, or Burg), then I recommend that you try Super Boot Manager, which is a boot manager with a simple graphical user interface (GUI). Super Boot Manager also allows to customize themes of Plymouth and Burg.
In this guide, we will see how to install Super Boot Manager on Ubuntu 11.04/10.10/10.04. So, open the Terminal and run these commands:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ingalex/super-boot-manager
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install buc super-boot-manager
To run the application, you must have root privileges.
